DUNE! YES! I started it that year as well. I reread it year after year. As each new book came out I reread the whole series. Gradually I found everything Herbert had written. His work influenced me incredibly as a human being.
Understood. Your understanding of the language is revealed by your facility with it. Alteration of any form is best achieved by those who are most familiar with the rules governing that form. Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking the law. I believe it to be the duty of the poet to change language and usage, to help it evolve and become better able to do the job for which it was created; human beings must be able to communicate their thoughts, ideas, emotions and observations. BTW, thank you for being friend. Always.
